I am having trouble getting rid of a stubborn notification from google. I was trying to log in to my work gmail account through Chrome. (It worked on my old phone without forcing me to download the "Google Apps Privacy Policy" like the Gmail app did). But with my new phone, it did not work and I do not want to download the app and give up the permissions it was asking for. So now I have this pesky notification that will not go away that says "Account action required" and then my work email address. I have tried everything and the only thing that seems to make it go away temporarily is a long-press on the notification itself (which opens up Google Play App Settings) and then blocking all notifications from Google Play Services, which I also do not want to do permanently.

    Please help,

Try clearing Chrome's cache through application Manager in Settings
