Android Tv box Video too Dark. Gamma Correction maybe.

Dear Sir,

Dont know if this is the right place.

i have this leoxsys lt88 tv box that uses rk3188t board.

it is good
screens are good

only one issue.

and this issue happens only with videos that are being played.

the video appears too dark whenever there is a night scene or dark scenes. it becomes barely visible. the bright scenes are great. but dark scenes are impossible to see.

whereas the same scene is well lit in my laptop. even if i use my tv directly to play that video from its in built video player. it shows up very well.

but the android tv box is unable to show dark scenes correctly.
this happens with only video files.

i have tried it with different players in android. like mx player and xbmc etc.
android os in general is all clearly visibile and bright.
games are very bright and clear.
everything else is very well lit.

only videos have issues.

on doing google search i found that such tv boxes have gamma correction issue.

please suggest me ways to fix this.

i am capable enough to root the device. but i dont know anything about kernel modifications.

please help me.
it is important. because movies are my primary reason i purchased your tv box.

Try this to set the brightness to maximum
