The other day it was raining a lot and I had my phone on my pocket. Later, I realized that there was some water (just a little) between the case and the back side of the phone. After that, the right side of the touch screen doesn't work and the phone is acting up, opening apps when I'm writing a message or when the phone is just sitting on the table. My husband said that we can try and change the screen, but I'm not sure if it might be a hardware problem. Any ideas?

As a diagnostic, do all that you can to dry the phone, removing the back and battery if possible for whatever device you have. If matters improve, that may only be temporary, since water damage is progressive, but at least you'll have diagnosed the probable cause of the trouble.
