Hey, I love the concept of smart watches but I simply dont like using them. Ive decided to hunt down normal analogue watches that have a bluetooth notification function. I currently have the Martian Notifier and absolutely love it. But i want options, ive seen the cookoo and the cogito classic but after that i havent found ANYTHING i like more classic minimal looking watch but im open to any and all suggestions. THANKS!!!

I like the way you think and this kind of smartwatch (retro with some smarts) had been a big interest of mine as well. I currently have a Cookoo & Cogito Fit (both made by ConnecteDevice) and several from Martian... The Victory, Passport and Notifier.

From my experience with these watches, you've already landed in the best one I've found in this "retro-smart" category... The Martian Notifier. It's true that the notifier first do as much as some other smartwatches, but IMO that's what makes it great! It doesn't give you a headache, it doesn't interfere or cause more issues... It just works as intended, as a notification device.

Of course this is just my opinion and you did ask for other options, so here are some other retro-smart wearables...

Martian had released some new watches that look great, but I haven't tried then yet and they are a bit on the pricey side... None the less, check out the Envoy, Aviator, Alpha, etc. at http://www.martianwatches.com .

Fossil has the Q Grant which looks just like a traditional watch and has no display... It simply vibrates to let you know what kind of notification is incoming.

Kairos has what they call "the T band" which is a connected watch strap you add to an existing traditional watch... I'm not sure it's currently available tho, may still be in the prototype phase.

I'll post back here if I think of any others 😁 .
