I have several messages on my phone. I want to remove messages that have read and no longer want to take up space! Therefore, I thought of a great idea that I simply delete the ones I no longer wish to keep. I was sure it would only require me to touch a few spots on this extremely intelligent designed operating system. It would be very easy to do this because the highly PAID designing people would make it obvious how to make it so on the screen. I WAS WRONG!!! So here I am begging for help. I DO NOT WISH TO DELETE ALL AT ONE TIME!!!!!!!! This is the end of my detailing of my question.

Its not that difficult. When the list of messages is displayed, long press and select delete.
