am using windows mobile form 4 years ( back from WP7 ).

    I have few questions

    1) is android lagging? don't get me wrong, this was the main reason why I took WP L720 bcoz there was only a bit lag in it compared to android ( 4 years back )

    2) which mobile will you recommend to take? my needs are

    A) good social networking apps
    B) I have my own YouTube channel, definitely I need good YouTube experience

    3) IMPORTANT, I need timely updates from manufactures ( like windows mobile, I get updates upto 4 years ). I have read that nexus series / moto series will get updates for long time compared to other phones

    4) recommend me any must have apps ( any app ) for an android mobile.....

PLEASE BE HONEST, AM NOT AGAINST ANDROID... thanks

    Welcome.

Android OS itself does not lag, though some particular devices may.

There are many devices that meet the requirements that you list. Can you add more requirements to narrow it down?

A must-have app is Android Device Manager.

    Hi and welcome to AndroidCentral.

What price are you willing to pay for a new device? What carrier do you have?

The 6p would be a great choice, even though it might a bit bigger than your 720. What's the 6s? iPhone 6s?

sorry its 5x not 6s.. now my only concern is software update.
    1) will the updates for N6p delivered first compared to other manufactures
    2) till how many years will I get updates ( ex iPhone guys get updates till 4years )

Nexus devices receive updates every month directly from Google. You won't have to wait for your carrier to release the update.
