Hi everyone,
I just installed the gingerbread OTA on my Nexus One. At some point, when I was about to make a call, it said something about internet calling and I mistakenly pressed "All calls" or something to that effect.

And now I'm stuck there :
  • if I go to phone settings > Call settings > internet calling and choose "ask me everytime", it doesn't
  • if I'm not on wifi, it tells me I should be
  • If I'm on wifi, it tells me I need an account
  • If I give it a bogus account, it tells me it can't connect

I've switched the phone on/off as well as airplane mode. But nothing is getting me out of Internet calling. Bottom line :I can't use my phone to make calls anymore.

Any ideas ?

Just a shot in the dark here, but go into setting>manage applications and find the internet calling app, and clear defaults (like you would to change launchers). Try the phone app too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you
You saved the day just as I was about to reset my phone to factory defaults.
