I recently bought a samsung galaxy A5 from India, and planned to use it in Australia, but then when I inserted a nano-sim inside the device , I was faced with a message that said "SIM network unlock PIN " and 2 buttons labelled Unlock and Dismiss. The SIM wont work, and I really need to use a phone.
I do not know what this means, but I want to unlock it and use it, please help me.

    More Information-
    Phone is Samsung Galaxy A5.
    SIM Card used is Optus.
Bought in India but for use in Australia.

    Hi and welcome to AndroidCentral.

It sounds like your device is PUK locked. You will need to contact your carrier to get the PUK lock removed.
