Where can i find the Ota 5.1 Update for the Moto E 2nd Gen Lte ( Surnia )

Where can i i find the 5.1 ota update for the Moto E 2nd Gen Surnia , i find it for other models but i cant find it for the xt1527 which is the one i have .. Would like some help with this since i just started using this as my daily .. thanks

Assuming Motorola wrote one, and your carrier released it, Settings/General/About device/Software update. If it says you're up to date when you tell it check for updates, there's no further update for the device for that carrier.

Its an unlocked phone , And yes motorola released 5.1 for the Moto E 2nd Gen , im asking for the ota file ,because when i go into software update it tells me im up to date ...

Try Moto E Android Development - that's your best bet to find a captured update file. (They delete themselves after the update, so they have to be captured to be posted, and that's not easy.)
