How do I get rid of the visual voicemail on my kyocera hydro phone?

I have the kyocera hyrdo from Boost Mobile and absolutely despise the voicemail program. I do not want to have any voice mail on my phone at all. I can force the app to stop but cannot uninstall it or disable it permanently. Does anyone know how to get rid of this app permanently?

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop? Does it reactivate at some point afterwards? Did you ever set it up in the first place?

Yes, it reactivates almost immediately. I didn't set the voice mail up at any time, either.

Sorry, I can clear the data, and "force stop" but there are no other options but those two.

That's annoying. The only way to uninstall a preinstalled app is to root the phone. Maybe you could try Greenify and see if you can hibernate the app.
