Can't remember alternate password

Hi

I know my normal password, but I accidentally changed the access way to fingerprint mode.
I couldn't do the fingerprint thing right, and after several attempts, I was asked for my alternate password.
Problem is, I can't remember it.
I haven't registered my phone to my google account.
I'm not used to operating a samsung phone, I'm completely lost, so I really hope you can help me

Welcome to Android Central! I'm a bit puzzled as to how you accidentally changed to fingerprint unlock, because that does take a number of steps to set up (including requiring you to create a backup password and entering it again to confirm it).

How is the phone not logged into a Google account? If there's no Google account, there's no use of Google Play Store or any other Google app.

At this point, your only option would be to do a factory reset, but with Google's and Samsung's factory reset protection features, you'll need to enter the username/password for the existing Google and/or Samsung account after the reset it complete.
