Why does my LG not access the added memory?

My tablet came with 16 G memory. I added a 64 G memory card. When I sync my music I get part of it until the 16 G is full and then a message that the tablet is full and nothing else can be downloaded. How do I get it to know it has an extra 64 G memory that it isn't using?

Downloads go to internal storage. Always. (Even in a Windows computer - downloads go to the C drive - if you download to the D drive, the downloaded file gets moved to the D drive after downloading.)

You can move the music from internal storage to the SD card with a file manager. (Use the copy function. If the copy works, delete the original. If a copy goes bad, you still have the original. If a move goes bad, you have nothing.)
