I just got my first smartphone and im really needing some help with apps, i bought the phone secondhand, its a samsung S4 mini and there are so many apps in my application manager which i have no idea what they do and none of them can be deleted.

Whats bugging me is the permissons, saying they can read text messages, contacts, modify texts, calls, contacts etc etc.. knowing precise locations, some are saying it can cost me money?!

How do i delete these apps?? Im thinking of getting rid of the phone and going back to a phone that just does calls and texts because im not liking this at all

Alot of apps dont even have names, such as....

com.qualcomm.qcom_qmi
com.sec.phone

Any help much appreciated!

Welcome. :)

Don't worry too much about apps and app permissions for the present time. Get used to your new phone first and enjoy it.

Any general Android advice you need, just ask. If it's something specific about your device, the S4 Mini forum - a sub-category of the S4 forum - would be a good place. :)
