Silencing the ringer without vibration?

I'll like to know if there's a way to do this, because it's annoying me.

I have used other OSes for phone, and usually when I silence the ringer, it doesn't vibrate unless I want it to. Is there an app that I can use that would do this for me?

Normally, I have vibration off, and even here, I have it off, but somehow it kicks on when I silence the phone. It's kind of hard to set Doze at work, if your phone keeps vibrating :-\ It doesn't help that Doze only works on a flat surface, and not in a pocket.

Oh, I have a Nexus 5x, running Marshmallow.

On my Maxx 2 running Lollipop there is a toggle under Sound and Notification named "also vibrate for calls".

Thank you for this suggestion. I have that turned off actually. This is weird. I hope there's a better solution than setting dnd for the whole time I'm at work :/

Yeah, that is weird. You'd figure that setting would do the trick.
