Rebooting issue while switching to ART

During the customizing of my android 4.4 i thought of to switch runtime from dalvik to art all the things were going fine but while rebooting it was taking very long time to restart after that i removed the battery and tried to start but it was approx 5 hours that it is performing the same process.
Plz help here!!!!!!!!!

Here's an exert from a Tech Republic article...

During the reboot process, Android will have to optimize all apps, so this will take some time. At first, you might think something has gone wrong — it hasn't. Sit back and wait for the optimization to complete. Expect 20 to 60 minutes (depending upon how many apps you have installed) for this to complete. Once it's done, however, ART is ready to serve.

You may have pulled the trigger (battery) a little early. Not sure what to do, but can you enter recovery mode on your phone and do a factory reset? It may be your only choice, unless you just wait it out to see what happens.

Welcome to Android Central! I've also seen some posts about certain phones that just don't seem to do well on ART, and essentially get stuck optimizing apps. The only solution there may be to do a hardware button factory reset, as suggested by nahoku.
