I have bought myself a second hand android 4.0.3 and there are specific things that I can't get rid of, such as jamphone, app,ect... I would like to know how I could get rid of all theese because factory reseting doesn't get rid of any thing (by this I mean that some how when I factory reset my phone, before it even turns back on, they are all back). I have tried over 65 different ways to delete them, but none have acomplished their tasks... Please help me find a way to get rid of theese things. Also I can't download any apps from the Play Store, every time it says: COULD NOT CONNECT TO SERVER. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. :-X :(

Welcome to Android Central! Moved to the General Help forum. Which phone do you have? It's most likely that Jamphone is bloatware that came preinstalled on the phone (either by the manufacturer or carrier). You can't remove bloatware unless you root the phone.

Regarding the Play Store issue--did the phone come with Play Store preinstalled, or did you have to manually install it? If it didn't come preinstalled, that means the phone isn't certified for Google Play, and therefore the Play Store might not work correctly.

If it did come preinstalled, then does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.

If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
