Apk files occupy lots of space on my phone memory. Is it ok to delete these files ? will it not affect the ongoing application functionality ?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? My understanding is that apk files (at least, those from Google Play Store) are stored in the system cache partition, which is inaccessible to the user (unless rooted).

    Thanks for the reply

    Mine is Xperia T3 model.

I used to install apps (.apk files) shared from my another phone (my old phone) which is stored in bluetooth folder.

Let me know if it is ok to delete these obsolete apk files and will it work even then ?

APK files are only installers (like a Windows .EXE file that installs a program). You can remove them safely.
