I'm using NFC Tools to try and write a tag to toggle my hotspot on and off. But when I then try using the tag after it's written the hotspot will briefly turn on and then back off again. I wrote the tag just to enable hotspot thinking maybe it was toggling on and off with same pass but with the same results.
I have a GalaxyS5, rooted, running stock 4.4.2 on Verizon.
I'm sure I'm missing something but don't know what.

    Hi there,

you're lucky, I'm the developer of NFC Tools
One question : Is your Wi-Fi hotspot is correctly configured ?
Before to use a hotspot task, you need to have a correct existing configuration.

I am using wifi hotspot now by turning it on and off manually if that is what you mean. It just won't stay on when i use a tag. If I have hotspot enabled the tag will turn it off OK but not on.
Hope this is what you needed.
    Thanks

    Mmh... It's pretty weird.
In your hotspot settings, did you have more than one hotspot configured ?

No, I have only one configured and there have been no others.
