For some reason, my phone has decided that even though I have scanned my fingerprint, it still needs my pin for "extra security" I find this absolutely ridiculous and defeats the point of the scanner alltogether, does anyone know of any way to turn this off?

The reason for it is to provide a backup way of opening your phone should you be unable to use the fingerprint scanner, such as because of bandaging or injury.
