SD Card 8 gb Sandisk does not create primary partition in cmd command and it depicts only 30mb. Why?

sd card 8 gb sandisk does not create primary partition in cmd command and it depicts only 30mb

i have done this for format my sd sandisk micro card 8 gb,
the steps was taken by me as under
1. cmd oppen
2. type in it disk part
3. select disk 1
4. clean
5. creat partition primary
6.active
7. format fs=32
8.exit
after all i got result amesing that 8gb card becom 30mb!!!!
can any body help me out to solve my problem

Sounds like you might have got a knock off SD card.
