Hi everyone

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area, you can move it if need be. But I was wondering if anyone has any experience buying cell phones or plans from Target or any other 3rd party dealers? Target has some great deals currently on android phones, and I have some family members who want to switch to Verizon so I want to refer them to those deals.

If anyone has heard anything, or had any experience buying from a 3rd party VS. going right to Verizon or any other carrier, I would appreciate any input or recommendations you have.

Thanks!!

The only recommendation I tell people is to make sure they read the contract. So if you get a Verizon phone at Wal-Mart, and you cancel the contract, you'll pay Verizon the 350 early termination fee (ETF). You may also have to pay LetsTalk (who Walmart uses) an ETF as well. Same goes if you get the phone from Best Buy, Amazon, etc.

Just read the contract so you know all the rules and charges.
