Why has my Samsung stopped receiving most texts?

[AC Question]

My Samsung has stopped receiving most texts.

This is sudden onset. Can send texts but not receiving all of the return messages. Have taken the battery out and reinserted it.

Hi

Try taking the SIM out and reinserting it, then reboot.
Try switching Airplane mode, on, then off.
Try putting your SIM in another phone, and send and receive a test message, then put back an try.
Try entering recovery, and Wipe Cache Partition ( No Data Loss)
Contact your carrier if none of the above works!

Oh...if you've installed a 3rd party text app, uninstall it.
