Hello! I have a Galaxy S4 I337 from AT&T. I've had it for almost 2 years, and recently I had been having trouble with the USB port. I found the correct one online and installed it today to replace the old faulty one. Everything seemed fine until I turned my phone on. I tried to make a call, but I got the "Mobile network not available" error message. Admittedly I did pick up the wrong card and accidentally tried to insert the Micro SD card into the SIM card slot, but I did not think it damaged it, however now i'm wondering if it did. I spent an hour online with a Samsung specialist who gave me a variety of things to try to fix the issue, however the problem still persists. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could fix this? I may just take it in to a store...

I suggest you take it to a professional to look at as you may have caused further damage to the phone.

    Welcome to Android Central!

If you replaced the port yourself that would mean you took it apart. I would take it apart again and make sure that you plugged everything back in. Make sure that your antenna is plugged back in all the way and all the other ribbons are snapped back in. See if you can also look to see if any of the SIM card pins are bent.
