Lost Photos

Hi, my question is how do i retrieve lost or acidently erasing photos from gallery when trying to transfer music from android phone to lab top. Please help me figure this out.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know how you lost the photos? Did you actually delete the files? When connected to the computer via USB, use Windows Explorer to look in the phone's /DCIM/Camera directory--are the photos still there? Were any of these images not taken by your phone's camera app?
