I found this old tablet that my father used to use in his company some time ago in the garage and I got the idea of transforming it into a simple notebook for me. But here is the problem... its running on a pretty old version of android that is really old (2.3.4 to be exact) and since it is not a commercial tablet thee is no support from motorola, at least on the consumer side. I want to know if there is a way to upgrade it so I can get thre Google play store and download what I need.

    Cheers

PS. No there is no Software upgrade on setting, believe me I searched.

    Hi

Your only option would be to see if you can install a custom recovery, to which I'm not sure exists for such an older device. You'll need to google search your model number, in a search engine, something similar to this: "Install Custom Recovery on Motorola ET1 Rugged." If you can do this, then you can install newer custom roms, again, if available for your particular device...which is doubtful.
