For the last month or so my phone has been downloading 50MB of data per day, in five files of 10MB, usually one file in mid-afternoon and the other 4 early evening. I have no idea what application is downloading this. Tesco mobile cannot tell me what the phone is accessing during these downloads. It is an old Samsung phone that I hardly use for anything much but my 500MB monthly limit is now being burst in 10 days each month!

Is there an app I can install that will tell me what the phone is accessing so I can find out what it is and turn it off? Currently I have the mobile network disconnected to avoid the problem but this is hardly an acceptable solution!

Welcome to the forums! Which model do you have? Try in settings - connections - data usage. These instructions for the S3 should work.

Edit. I'm having problems to post the link. It happens a lot with Samsung pages. Search for

    samsung s3 data usage settings
