I keep getting messages saying my phone is infected with 4 viruses, that if its not corrected in a day my Sim card will be damaged and my pix, contacts, etc will be corrupted? It tells me to update my launcher. When you click the button to fix it just takes you to different apps that'll supposedly clean/boost your phone.

It is scareware, the messages being lies that try to get you to click OK and install apps. Never click OK.

Don't do it! When these people tell you to "install this antivirus app", etc to keep your device safe, they're actually infecting your device with viruses.

Don't trust these sites! They are only trying to scare you. Don't worry! Everything is okay. I got scared when it happened to me, even though I knew it was a scam... It's just scary, and that's what they want. They want to scare you into doing something that can ultimately harm your device. Good for you for being cautious and not quick to act!
