I wanted to download Polarr (a edit photos app) from the Google Play Store but it said it wasn't compatible with my devise so I found www.apkthing.com and found Polarr on there and I could either get it from the Google Play Store (which I can't) or from the app. So I chose the app. Now my says random sources are not allowed so it took me to security in the settings and I can allow the app to be downloaded but I have to take full responsibility if my phone goes all weird and this is my only phone I'm allowed for the next 2 years and I cent just download anything I want on this phone. So please let me know if www.apkthing.com is safe thanks.

Welcome to the forums. Loading apps from third party stores usually are the fast track to getting malware and viruses on devices. I would stick to either Google Play or Amazon.
