I have recently purchased an Mbox Android box, however I cannot get Google Play to run at all. Any help?

I have recently purchased an mbox android box, however I cannot get Google Play to run at all.

Its a Cewaal, it's connected and working on the wifi and I can stream through it. I've tried to manually update the Google Play via the apk which seems to have worked but when I try to start Google play it doesn't seem to run. And its not showing in the running services either.

Welcome to Android Central! If the Play Store wasn't preinstalled, then the device is most likely not certified for Google Play. This means the Play Store won't be compatible. You'll have to use other app stores, like Amazon Underground, GetJar, or SlideMe.
