Galaxy S5 broken screen. Pattern locked so Kies cant see it.
Bought a combo hmdi/otg cable. Plugged in power, mouse to usb, hdmi to tv, mini usb to phone. Good news I can see the phone on the tv. Bad news is mouse doesnt work. In fact, if I remove HDMI mouse light turns on. As if it can;t power both hdmi and mouse.
Any way around this? Or am I stuck with just doing it blind using the mouse and no screen?
Plan is to unlock, turn usb debuggin mode and then disable lock.
