How do I delete posts? I see where I can edit but not delete. Hopefully this can be answered before it gets deleted again by someone first lol

You can only delete posts after you reach a certain level of posting (at least past 10). I don't recall what that is as it was some time ago. Best thing to do is edit the post. If it's a double post just put that.

Once you reach the level you can delete, it's in the Advance editing.

If you're using the forums app, I don't think there is a delete option even after hitting the required amount of posts.

 As far as I know: Ordinary members can Not delete posts
But can Edit them. If after Sent and Read it discover errors

Can be Edited, but Not always work. I've done it few
times. But when sent it..Create double posts

The last time I think a Mod-Spotted my duplicate Posts & deleted
one. In most forums the Mods-Take care of it..So is better
Double review posts, before Submited: Is my opinion

Using a web browser via PC (not sure about on mobile) to access the forum you can delete posts but I don't think the mobile app has the ability.

I'm a 'normal' user, well as normal as they come. :p

Here's some screen shots. I used the my post above as an example.

When you select edit you get the option to Go advance.

Once in advance editting, right at the top you have the option to delete.

Thanks @N_LaRue from my part, but the "Posts delete" may work after
15-30 mins after sent the post. I do have 1-Thread where I Edited
a sentence, but I retrieved today to try "Delete a double post"

But doesn't display those: [Save-[Go advanced-[Delete-[Cancel]
buttons. When I edit posts I tap on [Go Advanced] button

letMe include Emojis-Spell check, but Not Delete
button & when send the Edited post-Create2

N_LaRue is right, the delete option is only available on the desktop version. If you are having problems deleting your own post you can report it, add a quick explanation and a Moderator will remove it for you.

 With the permission of the OP=Jewels81: Thanks again to the
Gent's N_LaRue and JavierP : I've no doubt that your method works

But for unknown reason. When I login that "Duplicate thread" in
AC-Desktop ver. clicked the [Edit] button-don't let Me delete them

So to JavierP or any Mod. Pull the "Delete-Tool" Hehe! and
remove the last 3-Posts on this thread: Keep my 1st-Post only
link: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s7/685925-removed-music-sgs7-phone-when-started.html

I'm a bit confused. You mention both thread and post.

A post can be deleted by you. A thread cannot, as far as I know.

To delete a post follow my instructions above. When you select Edit, you then need to select Go Advanced in the bottom corner, only then will you find the Delete Post option in the Advance editor.

Sorry about that: Just to be straigh forward. I didn't explain properly
What I need is to "Delete" 3Posts out of 4: As you can see if you
open the Link-Provided there're 4Replies by Sam-Gs7..

When follow your Advice: I click on the "Edit" button from the
Post that I want to Delete, but nothing happens. That's why
I've requeted help. Hope Javier give it Try on too..Bye

One last time, let's see if I can make it clear.

If you're on a mobile device there is no delete as we already explained. You can only delete from the web browser on PC.

If you're using a PC then you need to go to Edit, the you need to click on the Go Advance to get to the Delete. There is no Delete under Edit by itself. This is what I've been trying to tell from the first post and why I posted screen shots.

So to put it right you click Edit -> Go Advance -> Delete

Delete sits at the top of the Advance editor, you may need to scroll up.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

:) The 3-Duplicate posts that I Needed to delete, were Removed already
for the Guru JavierP. But to verify the Deletion procedure outlined
I try again to Delete the post #8 on this Thread

When I click on "Edit" display a Text field to Edit, But the [Go Advanced]
is Not Shown. BTW I've seen the [Go advanced & Delete] buttons

In other occasions, but in this thread is Not displayed. So the delete
process will be useful for future references. Thanks @N_LaRue
