Why can't I manually update my firmware?

I can't update my firmware on my Samsung Galaxy 3 . When I go into my settings and try to update firmware it says internal error code 407, how do I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? S3, Note 3, Tab 3, or something else? Does this happen on wi-fi and mobile data? Have you tried using Samsung Kies?
