default weather widget connection failure

I have a galaxy grand from Samsung. After restoring to default factory settings my default android weather widget that I got with it does not connect any more. It’s trying to find local location and it says location error; cannot find local location. I had my gps enabled. If I want to add a city it says connection failure. Can somebody help me?
