The browser on my tablet keeps sending me annoying notifications: "Trump wins the debate"; "Man sneezes in Minnesota". But when I look at Settings -> Apps -> Running, the browser is supposedly not running.

How can that be? Where can I truly see running processes and also stop them?

(Yes, I know how to stop the notifications from the browser itself. That's not the issuee).

You could run an app like SystemPanelLite.
