Disable mute while charging

This is probably adolescent to those who are very apt with the Galaxy S6 but I have yet to find an answer. How do you disable the mute while charging? I plug in the charger, and the phone mutes. Of course I Google it and I get all the answers on how to mute notifications sounds and such but I want the opposite. I want the sounds and the tones and the notifications while it's charging. Please help the older less techy guy!

Hey Bigred, welcome to the forums, we like all questions easy or hard! Must admit, yours has me stumped, i have looked everywhere in my S6 and cannot find anything that would cause it to mute while charging. I can only surmise you may have a third party app, perhaps some tasker which thinks you want the device muted... Have a peek in your apps, especially any that save battery / do tasks stuff like that.. And please come back and tell us, I'm keen to find out, I thought I knew all the settings in those phones but....
