Howdy! So I've been trying to move some of my apps over to my SD card to back them up, but my Samsung Captivate is telling me that there's not enough space on my SD card to hold the apps. However, according to my settings, there is plenty of room left on my SD card. My SD card and phone storage page under the settings of my Captivate says that there is 9.98GB worth of space left on my SD card, and even when I try to move Google Translate to my SD card, which is only 24KB, I still get a popup that says that there is not enough space on my SD card. Does anyone know why this may be? Help would be verrrrry much appreciated!

Well, first, I have to say, I am totally ignorant on what memory limitations are on the captivate. Some phones have a limit on max sd card. But I would check into it.

2nd, You have to format the card, and I would suggest using a program like apps2sd, or something similar.

thirdly, some apps cannot be transferred to sd card, period. And maybe this generated the message.
