Small apartment (681 sq. ft). T-Mobile cellspot router currently in center room of 3 rooms. Needed for my Nexus 6, iPad & Samsung Blu-Ray. Any streaming I do is mostly via the Blu-Ray. And I use OpenVPN, if that matters.
Should I replace the cellspot with...

a single Netgear Orbi?
or
a single Google WiFi?
or
a standard router like a D-Link Wireless AC1900 Dual Band?

I'm probably only iffy on the Orbi & Google cuz they don't look like routers. I'm open to any arguments or other ideas.
The cellspot will have to go if I switch to Mint SIM.

Offhand I'd go with that D-Link router. WiFi solutions like the Orbi use a mesh network technology that are really good at providing coverage in a large, multi-room houses and multi-dwelling apartment/condo complexes but might be over-kill for a something like a single apartment.. If your three different rooms are separated by typical drywall walls the D-Link will give you pretty good coverage, but if you have thick brick or stucco walls than that's a different matter.

Thanks. That's something new to look into. I just wonder if I'll have the tech savvy to deal with Peplink. I've also noticed gripes about throughput speed in some reviews.
