LG V10 Battery Icon Issue

Just received a refurbished LG V10 yesterday. Noticed last night that the battery icon still has the charging lightning bolt on it when no longer plugged in to charge. The charge level does not go up and down like it does when actually charging though. If I restart my phone the battery icon is back to normal. However I did just notice as I am writing this is that if I turn my phone off and put it on charge and then remove it from charge it acts like it is charging. If I access the pull down menu it says Fast Charging, Collecting battery info...Please wait. So done with this LG V10.
