Hi,
I have a Moto G 3rd Gen running Android 6.0.1 I have a 16GB sd card installed which was formatted as internal storage so is not fully readable in a PC. It has apps and data on it but is now almost full. As my internal memory is only 8GB I cannot move the apps back.
I have bought a 32 GB card and wish to put it in my phone. How do I transfer all apps and data to the new card? I have both Linux and Windows Pcs.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. It is my understanding that if you remove the card as internal storage the least that will happen is you'll lose everything on the card. I'm not sure what will happen to the internal storage as it's obviously tied to the SD card, worse case you'll lose it too. Your apps will not disappear as long as they were downloaded from the apps store, but I would imagine any data stored on the card will be lost. As the storage is tied together its not as simple as just transferring it over to a PC.
