Hello Android Central!
Reporting to this forum because I've read it's one of the best ones.
Anyways, closer to my problem.
Lately I've upgraded from Android 4.4.4 to Android 7.0 Nougat.
My old phone used to be rooted, which I was happy with.
Now I have a new Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) which is running on Android 7.0
Straight away I tried rooting my device like I did with my old phone, using KingoRoot for PC. But unfortunately, KingoRoot didn't work for me. I tried using other 3rd party software but no luck either.
I then tried rooting my phone using CF Auto-Root, using Odin v3.10.6, but that didn't work at all and also caused my device to go into a boot-loop and made a message appear. The message was "Recovery is not Seandroid enforcing". So I had no choice but to flash to Stock firmware.
My question is, why can I not root my phone properly? Am I doing something wrong?
Hope someone knows the answer to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
