Viewing content and browsing the internet on a smaller display

Hi everyone!

I'm facing a problem with bigger phones since my hands are small and most of flagships and top-specs phones are having at least 5.5 inches displays.

However, I was considering going to Sony's new XZ1 compact, since it's equipped with the latest hardware available on the market.

But my question is how much is the difference between a compact phone and a normal flagship (my current one is OnePlus 3T) in terms of user experience and viewing content? Would it be a huge transition when browsing the web or using daily apps?

I appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

It probably would be. After years of using a 5.5 inch display, I still use my PC whenever possible for web browsing. Using the phone's comparatively small screen is painful.

I use several phones, the biggest with a 5.5" display, the smallest with 3.5". I don't myself find that the smaller ones are difficult to use in the ways that you mention.

I would have to agree with @Rukbat. I have an S8+ and like using the browser because of the screen, but I'm at my laptop now and usually.
