I bought a Motorola G Play last year; I have Metro PCS. I don't really recall how it's performance was when it was new, but now it is sluggish and laggy. Sometimes when typing words into Google (for a search) it'll take 20-30 seconds just to get a word typed out. Then forget about waiting for the page to load. It doesn't matter if I have full reception, it's the phone.

Anyways, the screen is cracked and I need a new one. All I do is search the web, record guitar licks via a memo record, listen to music.. real basic stuff. I want a phone that does this well; my budget is $100. Any recommendations? A loud speaker and decent microphone would be nice. Also, nothing larger than a 5" display.

100, is TOUGH! You can do a LOT better at around 300, THAT being said here's AC's sub 100 dollar list...
