Hey guys,

So I got my phone a little wet a few days ago, and when I say a little wet I mean it was in about an inch of water for all of 5 seconds.

Ever since then I've been getting the moisture error message which is preventing me from charging my device. I've tried a lot of the suggested tips so far; Cleaning with a Q tip, leaving in the sun, hairdryer, bowl of rice overnight etc. but nope, same problem!

Now that the phone has totally run out of battery I have zero access to change settings, reset usb cache etc. The other problem is that I'm currently travelling the world and I'm in Laos where finding a reputable mobile repair shop isn't really an option!

Its so frustrating because after 2 days there can surely be no moisture in the phone. It really is my life line out here in terms of maps, notes, photographs and bookings so aside from use of my laptop I'm rather stuck.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)
