Have a Huawei media pad T1 7. Problems with Gmail and Google Play apps. Trying to not use them and going straight to Google site.
But can't access any updates etc, says media pad has
'No carrier'
Anyone know what this means? And can I fix it to allow me to use Google play in browser?
Thanks

The Play Store tries to identify a mobile carrier for a device. For a tablet, "no carrier" is common as a tablet is usually not being used directly with a SIM card and a carrier such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Fi, etc. That should have no impact on the ability to install apps or app updates.
