    It just shuts off when it hits around 40%. After that i cant turn it on unless i plug it in the charger. Once conected it shows 36% and I already changed the battery. Help !

    I bought a new one. I threw out the first one thinking that was the problem. So i bought a new one and it does the same thing

    First, see if this happens in Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30290. If it does, then try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30305.

    If neither of those help, then it might be time for a factory reset. If even that doesn't work, then the last thing to try before bringing it to a repair shop (or contacting Samsung, if it's still under warranty) would be reinstalling the firmware using Smart Switch (http://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29914) or Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...interface.html).
