Connecting my Android to my computer

Hi, newbie here,
I can't seem to get my computer to read my phone. The computer recognizes it as a connected device but won't read the contents.

My phone is a BluBoo S1, Android 7, 4GB and 64GB, with USB debugging enabled.

I have tried all that I know but to no avail, if I had any hair I would have pulled it all out by now.
When I first got the phone and connected to my computer everything worked but it won't now.
I might have altered something on the phone as I have been exploring it.

All ideas gratefully appreciated,

Hi Goozzie, welcome to the forums!
You didn't say what software you were running...
Generally, in the more recent version, you go to developers options, usb configuration and set that to MTP... That will tell the pc to see your phone as a storage device, and the phone allows the pc access to storage...

Thanks for that info, it worked. I have never come across this problem before but this info is now etched on my memory.
