Hi, for some reason a couple of days ago Google ads started popping up on my LG Android phone. I've tried several virus and ad removal apps, they haven't been able to remove the ads. I have removed any apps I don't know or don't need but this hasn't solved the problem either. Here is an example: Removing Google Ads from screens-android_ad.png

    Any suggestions? Many thanks, Torsten

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but the image didn't post -- can you try again?

You have adware that you unwittingly installed at some point, likely with some other app. Have you uninstalled every 3rd party app, or only the ones you don't know? It's possible for apps that you've trusted for a while to suddenly start giving you ads, so you should keep uninstalling apps until the problem goes away. If the problem doesn't go away, you might have to do a factory reset, without allowing the phone to reinstall apps automatically. Then install apps one by one, seeing if those ads come back.
