    Hi,

I have a Galaxy S7. I have setup everything in the "Account" section to backup my phone to my Google account. All the "sync" switches are switched on and I see the dates when they were synced. However, where do I find those backups to confirm that they did really take place? I went to my Google Drive, and in the backup section, I don't see anything. Don't want to be backuping my stuff for many years only to find out later when my phone breaks or when I loose it that nothing worked...

    Thanks

Your contacts should be appearing on Google Contacts, and Calendar on Google Calendar. They won't be appearing as backup files.

The calendar is at Google Calendar. The contacts are at Google Contacts (if a contact is entered as a Device contact it won't sync - it has to be entered as a Google contact to sync). Your apps don't "appear" anywhere, but you can always back them up locally (using App Backup & Restore or Helium, among other apps.)
