I can't change my ringtone.

This galaxy J7 isn't very old or anything, but it's stuck on "smile" as the default ringtone. I can't reset it to Bon Jovi song or the T-Jingle. I'm sure that you'll say go to settings>notifications>ringtones or something like that. Been there; done that. I've also reset the phone multiple times.

weird Ehh! - Tell us what do you Do to save the selected ringtone.?
Goto settings >>Sounds and vibration >>Ringtone >>select desired

ringtone next >>press the <Return button : it will take you back
to Settings again - Tap on sounds & vibration >>Ringtone and
verify if Bon Jovi song is the current ringtone

Welcome to Android Central! When you select a different ringtone in the list, does it play a sample for you? Does this happen only with custom ringtones, or with preinstalled ringtones as well? Make sure any custom tone is saved to the /Ringtones directory on Internal Storage, not on the SD card.
