    I have swiched off all the little buttons in the advanced button. But still when I am secured to my home network. It constantly drains my battery searching for other networks.This tablet s2 is rooted so please caanyone tell me to actually turn this off. I am running 4.2.2

    Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify which device you have? The SM-T705 is the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, not the Tab 2 or the Tab S2.

    How do you know it's searching for other networks, and how do you know that's what is draining your battery?

    The SM-T705 looks like it's the LTE version as well, so if you don't have a SIM card inserted, see what happens if you turn on Airplane Mode, and then turn wi-fi back on. This will turn off the tablet's cell radio, in case that's what is searching for a network.
